A flexible drinking water storage tank is a reliable solution for storing and transporting potable water in various applications, including residential, commercial, emergency supply, festivals and humanitarian missions. These tanks are made from high-quality, food-grade materials that ensure water remains safe for consumption without contamination.
We offer both standard-sized tanks and custom solutions tailored to specific site requirements, with optional features. From design to installation, we provide a complete solution for safe and efficient potable water storage.

DOUBLE SEAM PROTECTION
Clean water is the basis of life. But how to store it in conditions where a standard water supply is not available? In this case, it is recommended to use special flexible containers for drinking water. They are made of specialized polyvinyl chloride fabric, which meets all the requirements and standards of the European Union. It is completely safe for humans, does not emit harmful substances or carcinogens and is suitable for long-term storage of liquids.
It should be noted that the shelf life of water directly depends on a number of factors, including the biological and chemical composition of the product, ambient temperature, tightness of the container, the material of its manufacture, etc. Metal barrels and tanks are not the best option. Firstly, they are subject to corrosion and require regular painting. Secondly, they are quite heavy and bulky, so there are a lot of problems when transporting them. It is much more practical to buy containers for drinking water made of PVC fabric. They take up a minimum of space, weigh little and do not require special care.
Urban residents usually do not think about where water is taken and how to store it. It is available at any time – either in the water supply or in coolers. In rural areas, the situation is somewhat different. Many villages do not have a centralized water supply, and in the field it is simply impossible to organize a source.
If you need drinking water where there is none, then you should think about how to organize a supply. It can be temporary, permanent or emergency. The first option is usually equipped by farmers and summer residents. They buy containers, create a special place for them and use them on a seasonal basis. For example, for watering, fertilizing, providing sanitary purposes, etc. The same option is suitable for construction sites.
The permanent storage method is used where water is needed not periodically, but all year round. Usually, special large-volume containers are equipped for this, often combining them with each other. They are installed in arid areas, remote from communications, etc.
The emergency method is used by employees of the Ministry of Emergencies, the army, etc. It involves providing personnel and the population with clean drinking water in conditions of war, man-made disasters, etc. The main advantage of soft structures is that they can be deployed almost anywhere within a few hours. This does not require the use of cranes or other complex equipment.
Let’s consider the advantages of a specialized tank for storing drinking water:
Such tanks are very convenient to operate. They can have a volume of 5 to 500 m3, and their installation is carried out on a previously prepared site. There are no special requirements for it – it must be stable and not contain sharp stones. At the same time, there is no need to somehow design or register it, since the foundation for the tank is not equipped.
Flexsol has been working with PVC materials since 2003 – we are a leader in the production of flexible storage devices and sell our products in 20 countries around the world. To glue the workpieces, we use the Swedish-made FIAB 900 microwave, which is considered the best in its class. Welding is carried out using high-frequency currents. They heat the material to a given temperature, after which it is connected and compressed. As a result, molecular bonds are formed that securely hold the canvas, preventing it from spreading.
Additionally, each seam is treated with a polymer tape. It strengthens it and protects the reinforcing layer from contact with liquid. Each storage tank for drinking water is made of certified materials and undergoes strict quality control. This allows us to give a guarantee for it for a period of 5 years. The average service life is 15-20 years, depending on the characteristics of operation.
