About stationary tank liners

Flexible polymer liner – is the most profitable way of metal or concrete tanks repair.

Polymer liners are corrosion and chemically aggressive substances resistant. It is the most favorable and cost-effective. The liners proved a total leakproofness and isolation of liquids.

Application
Metal or concrete tanks repair
Reequipment of tanks for specific substances storing
Insulation of modular bolted metal sheet tanks
Advantages
01
NO NEED TO BUY A NEW TANK
It saves money on buying, transportation,
and installation.
02
SAVE ON OLD TANK REPAIR EXPENCES
Fixing a liner will cost twice less than repair. No expenses on welding, sealing holes, grinding, finishing or painting.
03
DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME
The production of the liner takes 3-5 days, adding the time for measurements and installation. You may fill in the renewed
tank 2 weeks after your call to FLEXSOL company.
04
INSTALLATION IS AVAILABLE AT ANY TIME OF THE YEAR
The liners can be installed not only in the warm season. It’s possible even in a cold winter because liners are able to withstand low temperatures.
05
POSSIBILITY OF REEQUIPMENT
A tank with the liner can be used for storing of any liquids: fuel, fertilizers, industrial effluents, water etc.

Application and advantages of the polymer liner

The polymer liner is an innovative product that has proven to be a more promising alternative to the classic repair of metal or concrete tanks. The process of reconstruction of vertical tanks with the help of polymer liner guarantees a longer operation, while the costs of repairing RHS with the help of liner are many times lower!  The liner will easily provide a change of the tank purpose and quality sealing of the tank. It is not subject to corrosion and influence on the composition of the stored liquid. The use of the liner will allow you to save significantly on the costs necessary for the restoration of improper RVS or the purchase of a new tank, which today is not reasonable at all.

When is a polymer liner used?

Tank repair involves a large number of different works, which are labour-intensive and require considerable time and money. The liner is an cost-effective option and is used in the following situations:

  1. Restoration of an old tank. When a company has an old metal or concrete tank that is outdated, requires costly repairs and has suffered operational damage. Restore the RVS with the installation of a perimeter tank liner for the interior of the tank.
  2. Improvement of the collector pit. If you have a pit with a formwork created or concreting carried out, you can use this product and get the opportunity to acquire a more reliable and better tank.
  3. To complement a modular tank. Some tanks are created from several parts. To obtain quality sealing, they are necessarily lining with liners. If this part is missing or deformed from prolonged use, a new object can be purchased and replaced.
  4. To change the direction of use. When storing liquids of one kind for a long time, the tank becomes unsuitable for other purposes. In order that the repair of the RHS (vertical steel tank) does not cause high costs and the tank can be used for other liquids, it can be lined with a polymer liner.

These processes provide an opportunity not only to save money and speed up the repair process, but also to carry out organisational retooling or expansion.

Advantages of using a liner

Overhaul of RHS involves work of high complexity. By using a liner they can be eliminated or reduced to a minimum. In addition, a number of positive features can be obtained:

  • long service life from ten years;
  • the possibility of quick installation with the help of specialists;
  • quality sealing of vessels with any damage;
  • no reaction with any liquids of chemical or organic origin;
  • resistance to corrosion and changes in liquid composition;
  • immunity to direct sunlight and mechanical damage;
  • tight fixation to the walls of the container and absolute hermetic tightness of storage.

All these positive aspects are made possible by the characteristics of the material used. It has a high density, which ranges from 800 to 1400 g/m². This indicator is selected individually depending on the purpose of the container and the type of liquid to be stored.

Overhaul of tanks is as comfortable as possible, as the liner for each tank is made according to the individual parameters of the internal volume. Measurements are made by our specialists to exclude erroneous measurements. After we produce the liner, the company itself carries out its professional installation.
